Visiting Chicago… First impression: look up! Everything is higher than in Europe! :-) (And New York is still coming up… ;-)
Streets of Chicago
The "Cloud Gate" from Anish Kapoor in Chicago's Millenium Park. "The Bean" as called by the locals ;-) Funny structure! :-)
One of the 2 Crown Fountain in the Millenium Park, Chicago.
After a nice fresh evening in Chicago, waking up to the morning sunshine… the flowers are covered with morning dewdrops… so nice and… LOL, I just can keep serious about this! It was actually in the middle of a sunny and warm afternoon after streets workers had spread water all over the flowers! ;-) How a photography can lie… :-p
After a while… you start getting pain in the neck! :-)
"Just Chicago ahead"
"Même pas peur!" ("Not even scared!")… hum hum… :-s Yeah… Right! For some people (like me…) it requires a lot of self-convincing before taking a step on the Willis Tower (formerly "Sears' Tower") ledges in Chicago. I'm not sure I really enjoyed the "view on Chicago" at that time… other pictures can prove that… but I won't show you ;-)
Trump tower in Chicago.
One of the skyscrapers of Chicago: the John Hancock Observatory.
Not an giant egg… Not a giant drop of mercury in the middle of the city either… The "Cloud Gate" from Anish Kapoor in Chicago's Millenium Park. :-)
"Just Chicago"
Cutting the sky, battle of the giants! :-)
